About

History

IVel’s Bed and Breakfast was established in August 2004. The owners of this fine establishment are both natives of this beautiful island. Iral was born and raised in Snug Corner and, Velma, in Mason’s Bay. During their early-teens, they, along with their parents, moved to New Providence in search of more job opportunities. On March 6th, 1963, they were married and have been blessed with seven children, three sons-in-law, three daughters-in-law, and twenty-four grandchildren.

Although they had relocated to Nassau, the love for this island did not diminish. They longed to give back just a little to place that had given so much to both of them. Thus, in March of 2004, the construction of this facility began and five months later their dreams had become a reality. IVel’s was completed and is here, not only for them and their children to enjoy, but has opened its doors and is fully equipped to host all who would like to relax in this luxurious setting. May their dream continue to blossom and may you continue to bask in this beautiful gift from God.
